Hello November! It's almost Christmas!
Hi everyone,
Happy November 1st. I hope you are all keeping safe and well during this pandemic. I understand from speaking to some of you that you may be coming out of a lockdown or entering into a lockdown depending on where you are around the world, please keep your spirits up and know that as cliche as this may sound, this too shall pass and we are all in this together. Junipurr will remain open and are available for any needs you have.
October flew by so quickly! Charlotte turned 4 and we planned a Unicorn/ Paw Patrol themed birthday party for her with our family. She dressed up as Skye from Paw Patrol for Halloween and Jax dressed up as a lion. We prepared an egg scavenger hunt for them around the house and they're both definitely getting cavities after this. From a Junipurr perspective, we have been busy on multiple fronts, from launching our Junipurr Apps, to developing new designs that you have previously voted for, and launching our Pins and Patches and our first Junipurr Jewelry Display! What we've worked on this month:
Our 1st Junipurr Playlist "All Time Favorites"
This one was a personal favourite for me. I asked some of our Pro Team members to share songs they never get sick of listening to and created an All Time Favourites Junipurr playlist. I really hope this is the first to many more. In a time where there's so much division, I hope this playlist will bring us all a bit closer together. This playlist is currently over 7 hours long and if you ever struggle with what music to play in your studio, maybe this will help as it's composed by piercers from all over the world. If you would like to add to the playlist, please feel free to email me.
Junipurr is now a Climate Positive Workforce!
We are excited to share we have become a climate positive company as of October 16th 2020. We have teamed up with Ecologi and started a Junipurr forest. Each month, they plant trees on our behalf in our own Junipurr forest which offsets our employees' entire carbon footprint, including their time spent at work, personal travels, and time outside of work. We also finance other carbon reduction projects from around the world such as preserving prime Brazilian rainforest and wind energy in India. These initiatives also create employment for local families and restore wildlife habitats.
In addition to this monthly commitment, we are going to plant one tree for every download of our Junipurr App.
Helping to grow a forest reduce the carbon pollution which will help accelerate our transition to a sustainable future. We are very happy to be doing our part towards making a positive climate impact in the world! Help us grow our Junipurr forest and leave this earth a better place!
