Hi, my names Ian Human, I live and work in the UK.  I'm known for wearing many hats (not literally), but first and foremost, I'm an active professional piercer and have been since 2012. I work from my studio ( Hold Fast Body Arts ) in Somerset UK.

I stumbled into the industry late, in my early thirties actually but it didn't take long before I fell in love with it and the many people I've met through the community. The kindness and acceptance shown to me helped me grow. I feel blessed to be able to put something back in to it in so many ways.

Over the last few years I've been lucky enough to be voted on the board of the UK association of professional piercers, an organisation dedicated to safety within the industry - something I feel passionate about.

I've had the privilege to coach piercers and help them to achieve their goals, something I find incredibly rewarding. I've taught at UKAPP conferences multiple times as well as travelled into Europe to teach at events like BMX.net in Germany.

The industry is growing exponentially right now and I'm so excited to be a part of it. I'm incredibly proud to be working with JMo and Ricky so closely at Junipurr - it's been an amazing journey and it feels like one big family. Their ethics, vision and kindness have been second to none, of course the jewellery is fantastic too !

As the old saying goes, mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow, I really believe this is the start of something special and I'm incredibly excited to be part of that journey.
