Hello! I am Vishal Rambharose and I am from Ontario, Canada. I started piercing in 2017 and currently run the piercing section of Pure Pain Parlour in Simcoe, Ontario.
I spent my teen years and early 20s hearing a lot of negativity about my love of piercing.
“Why would you do that to your body?”
“You’re never going to get a job looking like that.”
“People of colour don’t get piercings.”
These comments discouraged me from fully embracing my passion for piercing and eventually led me away from the industry. I believed the negativity and listened to the discouraging remarks. I never followed the burning desire to learn more about the industry. It wasn’t until my late 20s that I ended up in the piercing industry and I haven’t looked back since. I strive to show others that piercing is for everyone, no matter who you are or where you’re from it doesn’t matter you deserve the right to embrace your body and modify it in any way you want.
Every day I am thankful for finally following my passion. Piercing has always been something that empowers me. It has always been a freeing experience that makes me feel closer to my mind, body and soul. I believe that we can connect with each other on a higher level through body modification and I seek to share these feelings with every client I work with.
Every project I do, from the most technical project to the simplest lobe piercing, is precious because that piercing belongs to a person who is also important. I want everyone who steps into my room for a piercing or new piece of jewelry to feel special so that they can express themselves freely without shame or fear of rejection.
My piercing career has tested my resilience, taught me skills I never knew I could learn, and most importantly, saved my life. I spent most of my life struggling with my mental health and finding a sense of individuality. Piercing has helped me find balance, my true self, and it fills me with joy every day.
I look forward to joining the Junipurr Pro Team because a lot of my beliefs align with theirs, I love the work they have been doing for the industry and really believe they are making a difference in piercers careers worldwide. Im excited to work with them to continue to help more piercers and clients embrace high quality jewelry because it can truly change your entire piercing experience!
