Matías Tafel, better known as Rata from Buenos Aires - Argentina, Professional Piercer and member of APP and LBP. It is an active part of the teaching staff for the course taught by the government of the City of Buenos Aires under the 1897 law.
He has taught in various countries in Latin America, Europe and the United States of America, as well as in international body piercing congresses - LBP (Mexico) - GEP (Brazil).
He began his career in 1996, and opened his first studio, "Rat Body Art" in 2004.
Today he works with his wife Laura Vikt in Cubic.studio.bsas located in the downtown of Buenos Aires.
He trained professionally attending biosafety, sterilization, disinfection, first aid and skin physiology conferences among others. He has also attended the APP, LBP, GEP, APPE, where he has also continued his learning about piercings.
