Patrick McCarthy the owner and founder of Piercology, he started piercing in 1991. Piercology is still the only “Piercing only” studio in Columbus. He was the first elected president of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers), serving from 1999 to 2002. He has assisted in writing the piercing laws for the state of Ohio and has helped rewrite the laws for Ohio every time they come up for review for the past 25 years Patrick has conducted 44 seminars teaching Piercers and Health Inspectors how to prepare for an Inspection and for Health Inspectors what to look for in conducting Inspections.
Patrick has assisted many studios in what to look for in quality jewelry He as started a new company Stiletto Piercing Supply, which is the first company dedicated to help piercing studio’s become 100% disposable.
